How to Measure Your Wall

Good measuring is the difference between a mural that feels custom and one that fights the room.

1. Measure the full width: Measure from the far left edge to the far right edge of the wall. If the wall varies slightly, use the widest measurement.
2. Measure the full height: Measure from floor to ceiling in several spots. Use the tallest measurement.
3. Add installation margin: Add a small margin to both width and height so the installer has room to trim.
4. Check obstacles: Note doors, windows, sockets, sloped ceilings, and built-ins before choosing the crop.
